I began working with Linux at the start of my apprenticeship and have ever since worked on improving my skills. By bringing the theoretical knowledge learned in trade school to the workplace, I was able to appreciate the work even more. I am eager to learn about new technologies and follow trends in the field of IT, particularly in Linux. At home I enjoy working and playing with Raspberry PI as server. Automating work tasks is a high priority in my way of working and that is one reason why I enjoy using configuration management software like Ansible.
I enjoy capturing footage during travel and strive to make each trip a unique experience. Before editing, the content needs to be filmed. This happens mostly through the use of a DSLR, GoPro, or my drone, depending on the occasion. I am also learning how to be more efficient with editing software such as Blackmagic's Davinci Resolve. The final work usually ends up on Youtube.
Recently discovered my interest in improving my Java knowledge. Finished my first app which can be found in the Google Playstore. Just started working on a project with Unity. Planning to work on more productive and useful apps in the future.
Love the outdoors. During winter I enjoy doing snow activites such as skiing, sledding, or hiking. During summer you can find me anywhere in the world exploring; such as caving in Belize, climbing a volcano in Guatemala, or whitewater rafting in Costa Rica. Fan of adrenaline activities, which is why Bungee jumping and skydiving are crossed off my bucketlist.
